A Mother’s Embrace
The embrace of a mother whether natural or adopted, is one of the most effective natural healing methods.
Hence the phrase “Let mama kiss it and make it better.”
Mothers automatically have the instinct to heal their children.
I remember living in Oak Harbor, Washington with no heat in the winter.
This was after I gave birth to my daughter.
In order to keep my newborn and my 17-month-old son warm I was able to generate heat from my body to permeate the room.
My husband at the time walked into the room and said “WOW how’d it get so hot in here?”
After a child falls our first instinct is to kiss our child, put our palm over the wound to give it love and take their pain away.
This love and pure energy sent from Mother to child is the best way for me to relay the message of what Reiki is for you.
Reiki Session
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy".
So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."
It is what I like to call the "epitome of self love"
The practitioner (myself) acts as the conduit for the individual being worked on.
I will place my hands over a series of particular points on your body and send Reiki energy to them.
Reiki is calming, soothing and comfortable.
Usually the Reiki will guide my hands to where it is needed.
Each session usually lasts about an hour.
You may choose to sit in a chair or on my massage table.
I will give you instructions and let you know what to expect.
You may feel the effects of Reiki right away or you may feel them in week. Results vary from person to person, as is every experience.
Some see visions, lights and colors during their sessions. Others see nothing yet only feel Reiki's intense love enveloping them.
I also offer Remote Reiki sessions.
You and I will create a convenient time for you to receive a Reiki Treatment, and I will send Reiki to you from my own home directly to you.
Each Reiki Session is $75.00 per half hour
The cost for a distance session is $25.00.
Encountering Reiki
Being a conduit, medium and well...human being I have had quite the experience in this journey called life.
I remember my very first encounter with Reiki was with my Cousin Trevant.
I was going through some very tough emotional issues, having to take care of 2 very small (beautiful) children, a husband fresh out of the Navy after serving four years. Not to mention on the verge of divorce.
So my cousin told me to come over so we could talk.
I drove to his house in Korea town (Los Angeles, CA)
When I arrived at his house we hugged and talked and he inspired me to do better.
We had a meditation session then he proceeded to have me lay down while he performed Reiki for me.
Before I knew it my whole perception of life had changed and matured.
I was so overwhelmed with love and joy that my tears of pain and distress soon turned to tears of happiness and assurance that the Universe indeed loved me and had a Divine plan all worked out for me.
A couple of years later, after our move to Las Vegas, NV,
I once again was dealt a hand I wasn't prepared to play.
Once again, I was emotionally distraught and uncomfortable in my skin.
I was seeking spiritual guidance.
I was on a journey to finding my path.
Something amazing happened.
Some how I met David (My Teacher) on line.
We agreed to meet for a Reiki session in exchange for a Psychic reading in a near by park.
We met we hugged and it was if we had known each other our entire existence.
He lit some Nag Champa and I lit a white candle. I lay down on a blanket in the grass while the sun was shining brilliantly above us and he began.
I closed my eyes and took 3 deep cleansing breaths. I could feel the energy flowing through me right away. As David’s hands touched my body I could actually see the colors that coordinate with each Chakra. I could see visions of my past life and past lives.
I could see my future. I could once again feel the love of the Universe embracing me and letting me know once again everything is perfect in my life and going as planned.
I opened my eyes and I could actually see tiny pinpoints of light (energy) surrounding us! It was the most beautiful experience I had ever had next to giving birth to my two children.
I kept think "Oh wow! Is this real? Am I dreaming? I feel so good and calm and ALIVE!"
David reassured me I wasn't in a dream. He has a very comforting and calming demeanor about him. Always with grace!
After he was done with my session I in turn gave him a Psychic Reading. We hugged and went our separate ways that day. I walked away feeling love, confidence and pure elation!
We are still great friends. I love him like my own brother.
